01/07/2011 | Registration: Please note that online registration will close at 5pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on Saturday 2 July. Registrations are possible on arrival, but to avoid the queue register online now: http://www.aas.asn.au/conf11/registration.php. Please note that seats for the conference dinner are limited (around 30 seats remaining) so please register and make payment ASAP. All those who will be in Perth on Monday, please come and register at the UWA refectory between 2-5.30pm to skip the Tuesday morning rush. |

01/07/2011 | Flights: Qantas engineers have planned a strike for two hours on Monday 4 July at Melbourne's Tullamarine airport, and engineers in Perth are threatening similar action. While major disruptions are not anticipated, please contact your airline prior to setting out for the airport to ensure flights have not been delayed. For further information about transport from the airport please see the information sheet, the Perth International Airport website and the Qantas website. |
